Often, the innovator will feel that the direction provided by others is not the way to go. This could be for a number of reasons, but the choice of direction is justified when it follows a vision or value that is selfless. Then the righteous innovator is nourished by the spring of life and continually reaffirmed in commitment to starting a business.
The most simplistic way to start a business is to form a Limited Liability Company (an LLC). For $50 and 15 minutes of time, a person may create, from thin air, a legal entity that can be used in place of the person to facilitate transactions. This corporate entity can bare the brunt of legal obligations so that they are not borne by the owner individually.
The benefits of an LLC are many. Aside from the shield from personal liability, an LLC may be taxed as a disregarded entity and give you plenty of profit through big deductions. Ever planned to take a potential business partner out to dinner? Half of the cost would be deducted. Need a new MacBook Pro for your business? This expense is fully deductible, reducing your taxable income by ~$3,000 and potentially saving you about ~$750 in taxes, assuming a 25% tax rate typical for many small business owners.
We can share many more reasons why an LLC is beneficial as well as discuss other corporate entities such as S corporations and nonprofits. The usefulness of a legal entity varies based on the goals of the innovator. So, your vision will be the roadmap, and we can be your guide.
